Frequently Asked Questions

Our standard single-mode connectors achieve typical insertion loss of ≤ 0.15 dB and maximum ≤ 0.30 dB, with return loss ≥ 50 dB. These values exceed IEC 61300-3-34 Grade B requirements. High-performance variants offer ≤ 0.10 dB insertion loss.

LC connectors offer a smaller 1.25mm ferrule (half the size of SC), making them ideal for high-density applications like data centers and 10G/25G/100G SFP modules. SC connectors with their 2.5mm ferrule provide a more robust push-pull mechanism, commonly used in FTTH/GPON deployments and older infrastructure.

For outdoor telecom installations, we recommend IP67 minimum (dust-tight, protected against temporary immersion). Our hardened connectors achieve IP68 rating, suitable for underground or submerged applications. For antenna tower installations, consider MIL-STD-810 rated connectors that withstand vibration, salt spray, and extreme temperatures.

Yes. Our engineering team handles custom requests including modified pin counts, specialized coatings (gold, silver, nickel), custom cable lengths, branded labeling, and specialized environmental ratings. Typical turnaround for a custom design is 2–3 weeks from specification approval to first samples.
